It’s official! Daniel Radcliffe has chosen his first film role now that he has completed the Harry Potter series.
After rumors have been swirling that he has expressed interest in starring in the upcoming supernatural thriller Woman in Black, publicist Romley Davies has confirmed that Daniel will be starring in the film.
The thriller is said to be about a young attorney named Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe’s role), who travels to the home of a deceased woman to sort out her papers. While in the home, he uncovers many secrets and even has an encounter with a mysterious woman in black.
Interestingly, the movie’s original adaptation in 1989 starred Adrian Rawlins, who plays Harry Potter’s father James in the films.
And in other HP news, Tom Felton (Harry Potter’s Draco Malfoy) has joined Caesar: Rise of the Apes as Brian Cox’s son, co-owner of ape facility.
He will star alongside James Franco, Andy Serkis, Freida Pinto, and John Lithgow.
The film is “set in present-day San Francisco” and “deals with the aftermath of man├óΓé¼Γäós experiments with genetic engineering that lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.”
Rise of the Apes is set to be released next summer!
Can’t wait!
