This is a side of Hulk Hogan we’ve never seen before.
On Monday, the WWE legend appeared on Good Morning America and opened up about the recent discovery of the racist comments he made in a 2012 interview.
The 62-year-old was removed from the WWE and has received a ton of backlash after an alleged racist rant in his sex tape was revealed — and an interview surfaced where the wrestler used the N-word.

Hogan asserted that he’s “not a racist” and is “embarrassed” by his words. He also explained that the recording of him using racial slurs about at his daughter’s boyfriend happened during a rough patch.
He said:

“I was at the lowest point of my life to the point where I wanted to kill myself.”

The former Hogan Knows Best star added that he grew up in an environment where that language was used casually by everyone.
While the WWE may not have been forgiving to the superstar, Brooke Hogan has truly shown her support for her father. Hogan teared up after his daughter was mentioned:

“She’s been so supportive ├óΓé¼┬ª she instantly said ├óΓé¼╦£I don’t even need to forgive you ’cause I’m not mad at you. I love you. You’re my dad.'”

Do YOU think the wrestler is getting a too much heat, or is he simply paying the price for insensitive language? Watch the interview (below) and decide for yourself!
