Jayma Mays To Leave Glee After Upcoming Season Five!

Oh, Gleeks. It’s going to be a tough, tough year.

Though we’re finally wrapping our heads around Cory Monteith’s death, we’re sad to report that Glee will be losing another original cast member following the upcoming fifth season.

Jayma Mays — our beloved Emma Pillsbury — will not be returning to the show after this year.

While at the Smurfs 2 film premiere, the adorable actress revealed:

“This is going to be my last season.”

Though Jayma will be will be taking up a new role at Will Arnett’s sister on CBS’ The Milers, the actress did mention that she’d be more than happy to return to Glee as a guest star in the future:

“I would love to do that.”

As for the direction of Season 5, she said:

“I’m finishing up this season, so I’m not sure what direction and who’s coming on and who’s not.”

Awww, we’re seriously going to miss Mrs. Schue!
