Jennifer Hudson To Return To American Idol

Though Fox has not confirmed it, Jennifer Hudson is reportedly appearing on American Idol in an intimate performance to be taped after Wednesday’s results show. The performance will then be broadcast at a later date.
The ticket voucher allegedly states a “second taping of Wednesday is the LIVE performance show with special performances by Jennifer Hudson and Ruben Studdard.” Studdard is a confirmed guest.
Following her appearance on AI, Hudson will guest on Thursday’s Ellen DeGeneres‘ show as part of a string of high profile spots to kick off her upcoming tour with Robin Thicke.

It’s good to see her back to work! As she told Oprah, doing what she loves to do is like “therapy.”
