The former athlete took to social media in the wee hours of Wednesday morning to share an adorable, home video-style tribute in celebration of his famous fiancée’s 50th birthday.
In a sweet video montage set to Billy Joel’s This Is The Time, the MLB alum shared photos and videos of his time with the superstar singer and their now-blended families — including Jenny’s 11-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and A-Rod’s two daughters, 11-year-old Ella and 14-year-old Natasha.

He said in the clip:
“Hi baby girl, just want to wish you a happy birthday. I cannot believe this, baby girl. Since we’ve been together you’ve made me feel like everyday’s my birthday. Thank you for your passion and your energy and your inspiration and your endless pursuit to be the best at everything that you do.”
The post then played shots and clips from the songstress’ current tour, It’s My Party, which was created to celebrate her turning the big 5-0.
The 43-year-old continued:
“You’re simply the best partner in life, the best daughter, the best mother, the best performer. We love you, your fans love you, your children love you, and I love you. Let’s make this birthday a very special one.”

J.Lo was undoubtedly moved by the post, as she took to the comments section on Instagram to write:

The ex-baseball star didn’t stop there. He also posted several pics and videos of the birthday girl on his Instagram Story, including a pic of him kissing the entertainer’s nose alongside a shot of two lions snuggling — which the singer re-posted on her own Stories.
Other posts included shots from backstage of Lopez’s tour and multiple videos of the singer reading a giant birthday card signed by fans:

This extremely elaborate birthday tribute isn’t surprising, as the former athlete tends to go all out when it comes to honoring his lady love.
Earlier this year, Rodriguez explained to Jimmy Fallon just how much planning went behind his proposal to the singer back in March, recalling:
“I had rehearsed three days in a row. I wanted the sunset to be perfect. I planned it for about six months. It was on the beach in the Bahamas.”
If that’s not true love, we genuinely don’t know what is.
