On Thursday on Twitter, the two pop stars announced they are headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on February 2, 2020.

At first, the Hips Don’t Lie singer shared the following cryptic post on social media — featuring a cropped snap of J.Lo’s body. She added the text:
“Get ready ? 02.02.20”
Minutes later, the Hustlers actress spilled the beans on her page, by penning:
“Going to set the world on ??? @shakira #PepsiHalftime #SuperBowlLIV @pepsi”
Before the big announcement, an ET source this month said Alex Rodriguez‘s fiancée is “at the top of the NFL’s list” of artists to perform.
The insider divulged:
“Jennifer and the NFL have been in talks for a while, but there are many factors that go into the deal before it’s official. Jennifer has been saying for a while she wants to perform at the halftime show and it looks like her dream may come true.”
The source added:
“Jennifer has had an incredible career that spans over decades and this platform would give her the biggest stage ever to showcase it. Jennifer has already worked with the NFL this year promoting the season, so things are looking good.”
