Jessica Simpson Adopts Her Fiance's Dog

Though she hasn’t even walked down the aisle yet, bride-to-be Jessica Simpson has already made a maternal commitment to fianc├â┬⌐ Eric Johnson‘s dog.

Jess gushed about her new son, saying:

“His name’s Bentley, he’s an Airedale terrier [and] he’s adorable. He’s the best dog. I love him to death.”

Like most step-parent relationships, it took Bentley some time to warm up to the star.

“At first he would growl at me, and now he comes and snuggles up to me. It’s like I have a brand new dog.”

Jess says she’s not planing on adopting anther dog any time soon. Perhaps it’s because she wants to have human babies soon.

Our fingers are cross!!!
