Joe Manganiello is entering this new chapter of life single and tatted up!
The 46-year-old actor appears to have a massive new tattoo on his forearm. On Tuesday, his tattoo artist, Ruben Malayan, showed off the Magic Mike star’s body art on Instagram. But what did Joe get? He honored his Armenian heritage and had the word “angel” written in the language with thick calligraphy style font. Ruben wrote in the caption of the picture:
“My latest work, so far largest in scale Հրեշտակ (Angel) for @joemanganiello who I am sure will wear it with pride! Բարով մաշես: @rubenmalayan #armeniancalligraphy and thank you @serjtankian for making the connection!”

Nothing like a post-breakup tattoo, huh? But wonder why he decided to get the Armenian word for “angel” on him. Perhaps to honor his great grandmother? Or something else?
As you know, this new artwork on his arm comes one month after the news of his divorce from Sofia Vergara broke. The former couple said in a statement about the split at the time:
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Although neither Sofia nor Joe have shared more about the sudden decision to split, sources have come forward to give fans some insight into the end of their marriage, with many claiming they were not on the same page about everything from their lifestyle to the topic of kids and more. So sad.
