For better or for worse, he’s sticking things out until the end!
Just as the series was renewed for three more years, Jon Hamm has renewed his own contract to remain on Mad Men for the next three years. What’s interesting is that while its star is prepared to see the series through to the end, it’s creator isn’t. Mad Men creator/executive producer Matthew Weiner signed a two-year contract with AMC and Lionsgate TV, with an option for a third, in March so we won’t know until we get there whether or he’ll stick around for the last season.
Can the series survive with only one of its legs to stand on? Hmm?
Maybe we should just be grateful we’re getting a season five! The future will work itself out, we guess!
