Karl Lagerfeld Thinks Nicolas Ghesquière Should Go Solo

This may be his best idea yet!
At the Parisian launch of his Little Black Jacket exhibition, Karl Lagerfeld was asked about Balenciaga‘s soon to be ex-creative director Nicolas Ghesqui├â┬¿re‘s future. As usual, his two cents were brillz!
Chanel’s captain said:

“Perhaps Nicolas wants to have his own label, which is not a bad idea. And it would not be a bad idea if somebody such as Bernard Arnault would invest in a new label because there are so many old labels [within LVMH].”

It was already suggested that both of these things would happen, but maybe with Unkle Karl behind the idea it will gain more steam.
Also, how funny that he called them “old!” LOLz! Oh, Karl!
