Kim Kardashian thought she was serving lewks on the red carpet, but the internet had other thoughts!!!
On Sunday night, the reality star stepped out to attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party — and her simple Balenciaga haute couture ball gown had everyone talking! Unfortunately, the chatter wasn’t for the best of reasons!

For the special occasion, the SKIMS founder rocked a white, puffy gown made out of Tyvek, a kind of synthetic flashspun high-density polyethylene fiber commonly used for house wrap, personal protective equipment, medical packaging, and more. Not exactly the first thing that comes to mind for a lux dress. LOLz!
She kept everything else really simple, pulling her dark hair into a bun and not wearing any jewelry. Ch-ch-check it out:

Before hitting up the party, the model posted photos of herself in the gown — including one pic in which she sits on the edge of bed. If you swipe too fast, it kinda looks like she’s wearing the duvet! Kanye West‘s ex-wife gushed in the caption:
“Kimsaprincess”
That’s a reference to her former LLC. But it’s also clear she was really feeling herself!
But, um, that’s not what some fans thought! After she appeared on the carpet, fans absolutely roasted the look on social media, writing:
“Like the fitted sheet no one can fold”
“Toilet paper and a terrible tan”
“Spare a square?”
“Dress looks like a paper jam”
“Sorry nothing about this is appealing”
“Kleenex Kardashian”
Brutal!!
At least she’s not getting destroyed online for seemingly ruining an iconic dress. But jeez, this was a miss for her!
