There’s nothing to see here, folks!
Kelly Clarkson assured fans on Twitter that there was no feud brewing between her and Carrie Underwood, while simultaneously shading the tabloid cover insinuating there was bad blood.

The three-time Grammy Award winner wrote a caption (below) alongside a photo of the Star Magazine cover:
“Someone just sent me this & I’m like why does she get the good pic & I have the worst expression I’ve ever made w/zero muscles being used in my face ha! I officially have a feud w/whoever used this pic! At least give me a good pic if y’all are gonna be lying is all I’m sayin'”
LOLz!!
In response to a user who tweeted:
“Carrie didn’t get the bad pic because there is no bad pic of Carrie”
Miz Clarkson clapped right back:
“Hahaha touché, well, I have PLENTY of rough ones ha! But I guess it builds character and keeps me humble this is what I tell myself.”
What doesn’t kill you makes you Stronger, right?

These ladies clearly have no drama between them! In fact, they’ve historically been super supportive of each other, like in April 2018 when the Miss Independent singer took the first step in calling out a poll pitting Miz Underwood against her:
“I think we’re both winning in life and pretty blessed! Singers, mamas, CEO’s…. #AmbitiousBlondes go ahead @carrieunderwood”
Less than 15 minutes later, The Sound of Music Live! actress replied:
“Whatever, girl, I voted for you!
But seriously, I do wish more publications would just celebrate women’s success without pitting them against each other…
Just my thoughts…anyway…
Love ya’! Hope you’re well!”
We agree, and we’re so here for the girl power!!
You have to admit, they are kinda similar! Both are winners of American Idol, fabulous singers, and are married with two kids. But while Kelly currently sits on a panel of coaches for The Voice alongside John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine, Carrie has not gone down that path just yet.
It was previously rumored that she was in talks with ABC ahead of the 2018 American Idol revival, but currently Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan were ultimately cast. Who knows, there might be a spot open over at The Voice if the From Justin to Kelly actress makes the move to daytime TV to take over for Ellen DeGeneres!
Similarities and differences aside, we’re just happy that all’s good between these two!!
