Five months into the coronavirus quarantine, everyone’s tried their hand at new hobbies and found new ways to be creative — even celebs!
Joining the likes of Brie Larson, John Krasinski, and other stars with extra time on their hands, Kesha has decided she’ll use her quarantine time to start a new YouTube channel. Called Beauty & BS With Kesha, the new venture sees the Timber singer evolving into a beauty vlogger and learning how to do her own makeup.

As she enthuses in her first vid, released on Tuesday:
“If I can do this, so can any human being on this earth!”
The inspiration for the channel seems to have been borne out of necessity, as the 33-year-old has needed to do her own glam for remote appearances and music video shoots, such as the one she’s preparing for in Tuesday’s video.
The original TikTok star tells Allure:
“I wanted to show my fans and people that maybe aren’t used to doing makeup all the time. I’m learning the process by having to film things by myself at my house, so they’re learning with me.”
She’s also inspired by the creativity behind a good look, she says:
“I really feel like makeup can help change your mood, almost like how music can. Makeup can tell its own story and set its own mood.”
