Longtime stand-up comedian and actor Kevin Meaney died on Friday, according to media reports.
The cause of death has not yet been disclosed, but the veteran funnyman passed away in his home in New York City. He was 60 years old.

Meaney was a comedian for three decades, and punctuated his career with consistent appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson as well as several HBO specials, the first of which was released in 1986.
He also had roles in movies, like Tom Hanks‘ Big, as well as television shows, like the 1990 sitcom Uncle Buck.
An autopsy is pending, according to TMZ, but in the meantime, other comedians from across the industry were shocked and saddened as they paid their respects on social media.
