Kourtney Kardashian Launches Lifestyle Website Poosh -- But WTF Is It??

Kourtney Kardashian launches Poosh!

Kourtney Kardashian is stepping out of the shadows of her famous family!
On Tuesday, the KUWTK star launched her beauty and lifestyle website, Poosh, named after her six-year-old daughter, Penelope Disick.

But what exactly is it?
In the “About” section, the brand describes itself as “the modern guide to living your best life” whose “mission is to educate, motivate, create, and curate a modern lifestyle, achievable by all.”
In a personal note addressed to her readers, Scott Disick‘s ex revealed why she wanted to launch the blog. She wrote:

“I decided to launch Poosh because I felt that there was something missing in the healthy lifestyle space. Healthy living gets a bad rap; it’s as though if you care about what you put in — or on — your body, then you’re not sexy or cool. But this just isn’t true, and Poosh is here to prove just that. People are constantly asking me how I do it all, from being a single mom to working full-time to still maintaining a social life. I get endless questions about food, kids, beauty, and fashion, so I decided to create Poosh, a curated experience and a destination for modern living.”

Additionally, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times published on Tuesday, the 39-year-old said her online destination is geared toward “the modern woman,” explaining:

“The modern woman, in my opinion, is somebody who cares about the planet, cares about what we’re putting in our bodies from the inside out, and just doing our best without feeling judged for not being perfect… Just because we care about those things or want to be eating healthy or living a certain lifestyle, you can still be cool and sexy and have it all. I don’t want it to feel judgmental, just really like a conversation.”

According to WWD, the site’s editorial team consists of chief operating officer Sarah Howard, Kardashian’s high school friend and founder of the blog Beauty Banter, and managing editor Michelle Scanga, formerly of Who What Wear. Articles will span a variety of topics, including health, wellness, beauty, fashion, interior decor, and kids.
Without further ado, here are the highlights!

She Gets it From her momma Kris!

In honor of her launch, Kourt sat down with mom Kris Jenner, and picked the momager’s brain on what it means to be a boss.
In the interview, the eldest KarJenner also admitted that she tackles one task at a time to avoid feeling overwhelmed. She dished:

“I know that [sister Khloé Kardashian] and I to get through a long day we only think of the next thing that we have ahead instead of the whole day… So we think, ‘Okay, what’s next?’ We don’t even look at our schedules for the whole day. We’re just like, ‘This is what’s next. This is what’s next.’ I have to get through each thing and I know Khloé says she does the same.'”

Kourt also revealed that she used to be Kris’ assistant!

“So one thing I don’t think people realize is that I used to be your assistant and that I learned so much from you about being a boss. I don’t take no for an answer and I learned that from you.”

Time To Get Nekkid!

Kourt is no stranger to stripping down to her birthday suit!
In an article titled “How To Look Good Naked,” the publication recommends using Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub and Isola Lemongrass + Coffee Body Scrub for smooth, sexy skin.

Additionally:

“You can recycle products you don’t want to use on your face by using them on your body (Kourt does this all the time). This is a smart approach to clear out your beauty cabinet and polish your skin in a sustainable way.”

A good night’s co-sleep!

In an article she wrote titled, “How Co-Sleeping Has Worked For My Family,” Kardashian revealed that she has shared a bed with some of her children.
For firstborn Mason (nine), Kourt explained:

“I had a different experience with each of my children when they were learning their sleep routine. When I had Mason, co-sleeping just kind of happened naturally so I quickly embraced it.”

However, when he turned seven, Mason “started sleeping in his room on his own.”
With Penelope, she “made the decision that we were going to co-sleep (where with Mason it just happened).”
After she gave birth to Reign (now four), Kourt “decided to have him sleep in his own room from the start,” as it was “good” for her then-relationship with baby daddy Scott. She detailed:

“With two kids in my bed, Scott had begun sleeping in the guest room, so I made an effort to try and get Reign to sleep in his crib. I actually spent the first two months sleeping in a bed in his room, as I was up at night nursing. Then at three months, I started sleeping in my room again.”

Reign is the “only baby who has always slept in his own bed in his own room,” though he “still gets up and comes to [Kourtney’s] room sometimes.”

‘Vogue’ it up!

To celebrate Poosh’s first day, Kourt filmed a video for Vogue where she shared her morning skincare routine and beauty look for when she does her own makeup.
In the clip, the reality TV personality even created her own homemade honey mask!
