At the Cannes premiere of BlacKkKlansman on Monday, the actress seemingly chose to make a statement by taking off her Christian Louboutin heels before walking up the iconic stairs on the red carpet.

In case you don’t remember, the French film festival’s ridiculous ban on flat shoes made headlines in 2015 when a group of women were barred from entering for not wearing heels!
