For Kylie Jenner‘s infant son… a LOT!
Of course, the Kylie Skin mogul famously named her son Wolf Webster at first before deciding that name didn’t quite fit the boy. So, she altered the moniker, and now, the whole world knows him as Aire Webster. A beautiful name, indeed! But what went into it, anyways??

Well, on Thursday’s brand-new episode of The Kardashians, the 25-year-old momma opened up about the lengthy change process and her thoughts behind it.
During a sit-down chat on the Hulu hit with her best bud Stassie Karanikolaou, Kylie explained how Wolf was all wrong for the boy. That’s because she wanted a name with deeper meaning! The proud momma laid out her reasoning behind the name change idea:
“I just always wanted a name for him that had meaning. And I like that it’s a Hebrew name. It means Lion of God.”
The despair that drove her to opt for the change in the first place is the most interesting part, though. See, almost from the start, the Life of Kylie alum knew something was wrong with the name ‘Wolf.’ And it came down to… her hormones?!
She warned Stassie that in the future, her BFF ought to figure out a baby name before hormones start doing their thing:
“Find your name before your hormones start raging and you have the child. It was the hormones that took me out. It was like, ‘I’m too emotional. He’s so special to me. There’s not a name good enough for him.'”
Then, in a confessional clip spliced in, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul added:
“I didn’t realize the postpartum would hit me that hard. I never called him Wolf. Ever.”
Whoa…
Being a mom is hard AF! From start to finish!
The regret for picking Wolf as the name for Stormi Webster‘s baby brother was pretty quick, too. Kylie recalled feeling those pangs “almost immediately” after giving birth to the youngster she shares with rapper Travis Scott.

Remembering the difficulties early on with Wolf Aire, who turned one back at the start of February, the Kylie Swim mogul detailed how she only picked up the original now-discarded name less than a day before deciding to go with it:
“That night, I cried in the shower and I was like, ‘that’s not his name. What did I just do? Wolf?’ Someone just told me this 24 hours ago and I just named my son Wolf? Like it wasn’t even — it wasn’t even on the list!”
Damn!
Crazy how impressionable the original name option turned out to be. After just 24 hours of consideration?! But it obviously didn’t stick. He’s Aire for good now!! And he’s also very much a part of Kylie’s larger world! To sum up her name talk on The Kardashians, the reality TV star optimistically explained it was time to start “living our life” with Stormi and the baby boy:
“I want to start living our life. I want to take him to Disneyland. I want to take him out and live life and not worry about what other people think.”
Love that! She totally should!
