As she prepares to step into the eccentric mind and world of one of the most famous talents in Hollywood, LiLo has made sure she won’t have to leave La La land to do it.
We previously believed that Lifetime’s upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic was to be filmed in Canada, but it seems Lindsay Lohan has used her star power to her advantage and has convinced producers to keep the production in our fair city of El Lay.
You’ll recall that earlier this year, there was an issue between the production team and Canada , who was less than willing to forgive Lindsay’s sorted past despite her celebrity status. However, we heard Lilo payed some peeps a nice bundle and everyone was ready to head up North.
Guess she changed her mind again!
One source has said about the relocation:
“The producers recognized that there could be problems stemming from the fact that Lindsay is under investigation for assault, and she is still on informal probation in her necklace theft case. It was just easier to move the shoot to Los Angeles as Lindsay lives there and relocating also gives jobs to local film crews which is always beneficial to the economy.”
Aww! Well we totally support keepin├óΓé¼Γäó it local, and goodness knows there are enough unemployed film people in the city of Angels… oh yea, and THE WORLD.
