LMFAO Tops Billboard Charts, Keeps Katy Perry In Second Place

LMFAO is keeping you from getting your straight fifth number one single.

LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem may have dipped a little bit in digital downloads this week, but for the past eight weeks, it’s been the number one song on Billboard Hot 100.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry’s Friday has been been patiently waiting at the number 2 spot for a third straight week, stopping her from breaking her record of having five number one singles in a row.

We’re not exactly sure why or HOW LMFAO has stayed at the top for so long, but we’re impressed.

Don’t shed tears just yet, Katy. We have a feeling you’ll be taking over that number 1 spot very, very soon.
