Wake up, San Francisco! And smell all the juicy drama!
A source close to production was quick to respond after Lori Loughlin became the face of the college admissions scandal, suggesting Aunt Becky would no longer be part of the final season of Fuller House.
However, some of her sitcom family members seemed to stand by her. Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber made a statement at the Kids’ Choice Awards, saying “Family sticks together.”

Later Candace made clear she didn’t want to speak about the hardships of her “dear and close friend.”
But what about Lori’s elder costar — Aunt Becky’s cohost Danny Tanner himself, Bob Saget?
He may feel somewhat differently about the matter. The TV dad has previously hinted at his support. He told TMZ cameras:
“I’m on the team of people that I love. But life’s complicated. I don’t like talking about it.”
But on Wednesday, while Lori and hubby Mossimo Giannulli were making their most recent court appearance (and surrendering their passports to ensure they wouldn’t try to flee the country before their likely incarceration), Bob cracked a joke about “lying” on Twitter.
He wrote (and shortly after deleted):
“So many people are lying these days, maybe they should change the tests in school to ‘false or false.'”
Damn, Daniel!
That’s some pretty cold shade. Or is it?
While it could be just a comedian testing out a joke on social media — heck, that’s basically ALL Twitter used to be a decade ago — we just aren’t buying that explanation.
We mean, is it possible he accidentally happened to write a joke about both lying and multiple choice tests in schools at the same time his friend and costar of multiple decades was in the middle of fighting charges of committing fraud to get her daughters into college??
And we suppose he then deleted the tweet because he realized afterward how it looked?
Come on now.
Loughlin and her husband are accused of paying $500,000 to USC officials to pretend their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose were new recruits to the college crew team.

And they weren’t alone; they were among 50 people arrested by the FBI as part of a massive bust nicknamed Operation Varsity Blues.
Innerestingly, Lori wasn’t the only person involved with whom Bob Saget had recently costarred either.
He was also a guest star on the most recent season of Showtime‘s Shameless, which stars William H. Macy.
Macy and his wife Felicity Huffman were also accused of participating in the college admissions scam, this time to cheat on their eldest daughter’s SAT. (Curiously, he was not arrested while she was.)
So from Bob’s perspective, it does seem like a lot of people being accused of fraud these days…
