Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s engagement hasn’t been without some drama.
As you surely know, the Suits actress’ half-sister, Samantha Markle, has been particularly chatty about her flesh-and-blood’s regal romance. In fact, the Florida-based mother of three is penning a memoir titled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.

While Samantha has vehemently stated that her book is NOT a “slamming tell-all,” tension has arisen among the Markles due to miscommunication. During a chat with Us Weekly, Meghan’s sis noted:
“It created some rifts with us, but people across the pond think we’re mean people saying bad things about her, but that’s not the case.”
Whomp, whomp. Still, as we previously reported, the ginger prince’s soon-to-be in-laws couldn’t be happier for the love birds. It’s said that Meghan’s father, cinematographer Thomas Markle, is “very excited” about the twosome’s upcoming 2018 union. Speaking of Mr. Markle, Kensington Palace has yet to confirm Samantha’s comment that Thomas will walk Meghan down the aisle.
The elusive industry vet, who lives in Mexico, has been described as a “shy,” “quiet” man. Nonetheless, he publicly congratulated the couple in a statement with his ex, Doria Ragland. It’s believed that Harry is considering a trip to Mexico to formally meet Mr. Markle ahead of the wedding. The 33-year-old prince called Thomas for Meghan’s hand prior to the proposal.
And, although Meghan and Samantha haven’t spoken since 2008, the memoirist hopes to snag an invite to the royal event. Samantha, who has multiple sclerosis, expressed to the publication:
“I hope so. I would certainly go. It would be challenging in a wheelchair, but I would love to go and show her how much I love her and how happy I am about this and for her.”
Hmmm, Samantha better stop talking about Meghan in the press if she hopes to get invited to the nuptials. And it appears that Samantha isn’t the only estranged relative eyeing for an invite. Apparently, the Hollywood starlet’s newphew TJ Dooley has vowed to gatecrash the event if he isn’t issued an invitation.
Dooley, who is likely the son of Markle’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr., stated to The Sun:
“I’d probably come to the UK for the wedding – even if I’m not invited. I am thrilled.”
Looks like security will need to be amped up for Harry and Meghan’s big day. WE TEASE (sort of)…
