Melania Trump Would Rather Spend The Holidays On A 'Deserted Island' Than In The White House

It never ceases to amaze us that Donald Trump repeats the populist line throughout his campaign about “Hollywood elites” while literally shitting in a golden toilet.
Well, the latest reminder of how out of touch the bazillionaire and his family are with the blue collar American workers they pretend to represent comes from Melania Trump.

During an event in which she was answering children’s questions about the First Family’s holiday plans, one child asked what her ideal plan would be if she could do spend Christmas any way she wanted. She replied:

“I would spend my holidays on a deserted island, a tropical island, with my family.”

Nothing says Norman Rockwell Americana like a tropical deserted island. LOLz!
This certainly explains why her “traditional” Christmas decorations were a near-miss — she was just guessing!

NOTE: To all those who think it’s crossing a line to make fun of this, this is TOTALLY fair game. You know why? It’s a political move! The whole thing is a public appearance for more heartland-friendly optics! You think Melania WANTS to hang out with a bunch of children being fed questions and pretend to be America’s mom? You just heard her, she wants to go to Little Cayman and eat small portions of lobster for Christmas! So yes, it absolutely IS OK to laugh when these little PR stunts backfire and make them look bad instead of making them look artificially good.
