Can you believe it’s been eight years since Missy Elliot dropped her album Respect M.E.??
We can’t either and we’re definitely itching to know why it’s taking her so long to release more music!!
Unfortunately it sounds like we may have to wait a while for Missy to drop some more of her AH-Mazing musical genius on us because she is not telling anyone when it’s coming!
Michael Yo talked to the rapper and asked if she was ever going to come back into the game, she said:
“Yeah man, you know, when I create something it has to be special and it can’t just be to throw something out there because I feel like I’m Missy. I gotta feel like what I’m giving fans is 100 percent. That’s game changing, I don’t just throw out microwave records.”
Well, at least we’ll know her next record will be a hit. Obviously due to her talents and her ravenous fan base wanting more since it has been eight long years!
Talk about losing control over a crazy long hiatus! LOLz!
Missy also dished she’s working on Faith Evans‘ upcoming album and even being former roommates with the songstress!
