More like Miss Demeanor!
A former Mrs. America pageant winner and HSN host has been charged with theft after scamming Macy’s out of over $5,000 worth of clothes!
According to reports, Jennifer Susan Kline bought $2,884 worth of designer clothing from a Southdale Minnesota Macy’s on November 5, 2015. The next day, she purchased $2,907 worth of merch from the same store.

Then, on November 11 and 30, the 50-year-old reportedly returned several pieces of clothing to the Macy’s in Mall of America and was refunded $5,501.
After a being tipped about the suspicious returns, a Macy’s detective (yes, it’s a real thing!) examined the clothes to discover that “the tags and labels had been switched on all of the clothing items returned.”
The former host on ShopNBC/EVINE Live, who was crowned Mrs. America back in 1989, did some home swindling by removing labels from the new clothes and putting them on used ones! Crafty!
But her mistake became obvious when inspectors noticed the returned merch didn’t look new at all.

The report stated:

“Several of the clothing items returned to Macy’s were dirty and showed signs of wear. Due to the label switching, it is not possible to identify the original brand of the item or the store from which the item was originally purchased.”

Authorities issued a search warrant, and recovered about 24 items of clothing from Kline’s home that had been supposedly returned when she was refunded.
The former beauty queen is charged with a felony, but is more likely she’ll face probation — her next court appearance is scheduled for May 9.
At least she still looks gorgeous in her mugshot! Good for you, girl!
