Naya Rivera Gets Demoted From Her Title As A Series Regular On Glee For The Upcoming Season!

Well, Ryan Murphy did say Naya Rivera was returning for the final season of Glee!
He just never specified if the saucy Gleek would be returning as a series regular!
That’s right, for the sixth and final season of Glee, Santana Lopez will be back as a recurring guest star — GASP!
And the interesting part of it all? It wasn’t a network decision, it was actually Naya’s request to be billed as a recurring guest star on the final season and the producers agreed to do so.
But don’t worry, this decision doesn’t mean fans will be seeing a lot less of Naya during the final season!
Former series regulars like Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz have tweaked their Glee contracts before and we’ve seen them a good amount of times during the previous season!
Here’s to hoping we get a pretty good dose of Naya before she leaves our TV screens for good!
