Are they? Aren’t they??
Okay, the last few days have been a little rough for One Directioners seeing how Zayn Malik has become engaged to Perrie Edwards, Liam Payne announced his relationship with new girlfriend Sophia Smith, and Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder remain as cuddly as ever.
One Direction is officially 60% taken. The single dropping group is dropping in singles very rapidly, leaving only Harry Styles and Niall Horan as the only two not in a relationship.
They’re like Willy Wonka’s last golden tickets. Everyone in the world wants them, but only two can have them.
But is Niall really single? As we reported earlier, Niall and Ellie Goulding allegedly got reeeeally close at V Festival in the UK.
In a recent interview, Niall finally ended the rumors…sort of:
“She has a boyfriend. But she’s still out there!”
Ah ha! Wait what? That’s a bummer…unless, now hear us out, what if the boyfriend he’s referring to is himself? Who else could it be? Not her ex Jeremy Irvine!
And what does “she’s still out there” mean? Perhaps that she’s not going anywhere, so if not now, maybe the two have a future?
Well, until then, it looks more likely than not that they are not dating.
Good new is that we still have a (small, infinitesimal) chance with Harry AND/OR Niall! Woo to the hoo!
