Nick Cordero's Wife Was 'Told To Say Goodbye' -- But Is Still Hoping For A Miracle!

Nick Cordero Wife Amanda Kloots COVID Update

Nick Cordero‘s wife is staying positive despite some very bad news.

The Broadway performer has been hospitalized for more than 60 days in Los Angeles after complications from what was initially believed to be pneumonia in March — but was later diagnosed as coronavirus. His wife, Amanda Kloots, has kept followers updated on his status in the hospital, including information about a new lung infection he suffered recently.

Along with a sweet pic of Nick with their 11-month-old son Elvis, Kloots penned to Instagram:

“I’ve been told a couple times that he won’t make it. I’ve been told to say goodbye. I’ve been told it would take a miracle.”

But she is not giving up! She declared:

Well, I have faith. Faith that is small as a mustard seed sometimes, but that is all you need sometimes. He’s still here and despite his odds gets slightly, slightly better every day.”

The fitness instructor continued:

“Where there is faith, there is hope. Where there is hope, there can be a miracle! Like my dad has said since day one, every day he’s still with us is a miracle. I believe God is with us, with the doctors and with Nick. ❤️”

We can’t imagine what she’s continuing to go through.

The 41-year-old’s complications stemming from COVID-19 have been extensive to say the least. Cordero had his right leg amputated, and has also received a temporary pacemaker for his heart — all without his family by his side because of hospital restrictions.

Days prior to Nick waking up from his medically induced coma, Kloots expressed concern over the status of her husband’s lungs, writing at the time:

“Due to COVID, Nick’s lungs are severely damaged, [doctors say] they look almost like he’s been a smoker for 50 years. They’re that damaged. There are holes in his lungs where obviously you don’t want holes to be. This was found because his oxygen count went down and they went deep down into his lungs. The doctor told me that if Nick was in his 70s we’d be having a different conversation. He’s 41 and he’s been fighting, he’s been fighting really hard. We know. He’s literally been thrown every curve ball that he could be thrown.”

But overall, she has remained steadfast that Cordero will continue to recover:

“[The doctor] told me that if it was his brother in there that he would not be giving up hope, so I’m not giving up hope. I am not giving up hope.”

Sending continued well wishes to Nick!
