Hey Norma,

Thanks!

Hair and makeup expert Norma Blaque‘s response:

Hi Jackie,
Green hair was my problem as a child, I wish my mom knew of these simple home secrets.
-A translucent hue of green can be easily fixed with, believe it or not, tomato paste. No joke, spread it all over your hair and leave it in for 30-45 minutes. Once is enough at the end of the summer 🙂
-A good clarifying shampoo, my favorites; Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two Clarifying Shampoo, Joice KPAK Clarifying Shampoo and Red-ken Chemistry Shampoo.
-At the end of spring time begin a green hair prevention ritual:
Mix 1 part deep conditioner of your choice to 5 parts of water and mix well in empty spray bottle. Spray it into your hair every time before you go swimming throughout the whole summer or whenever you swim.
Hope this helps you and HAPPY SWIMMING!!
