An eBay Seller Is Asking $50,000 For Videos Of Justin Timberlake And Paris Hilton -- Is This Even Legal?!

UPDATE: Multiple sources tell us these tapes are footage from a documentary that filmmaker Holly Wiersma was making of the ’90s club scene in Los Angeles. The movie was never completed. And, contrary to what this eBay seller is claiming, these tapes were never in storage. Someone stole them from Wiersma’s house! A police report has just been filed. And, yup, there’s no “shocking” footage in any of these videos.
Oh, the things you find on eBay.
A seller with the username nimers67 is offering 215 mini DV and 15 more audio cassette tapes that are reportedly a stash pulled from Paris Hilton‘s home and found at a Hollywood storage unit — with the opening bid set at $50,000!

The Murrieta, California-based seller posted the items this week, claiming that all 50 tapes work, that the stills he included (below) were actually from the tapes, and that the videos show Paris partying with all kinds of celebs, including Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, and Fergie!
Uhh… we’re a little unsure about this one, but here’s what the seller writes:

“There are 215 mini DV tape and 15 audio cassette tapes. They appear to be shot in the 1990’s. These were purchased in an auctioned storage unit in Hollywood, California. No physical damage. These photos are actual stills. I tested 50 tapes and they all worked. Very candid and personal moments of her in her home and partying with friends, some of which are celebrities. Spotted Justin Timberlake, Lance Bas, Scott Wolf, Fergie. Email me for a test sample, REAL BUYERS ONLY.”

It might help his case to spell ‘Lance Bass’ the right way, but, alas.
Here are some screengrabs for those doubting the authenticity (below):

Hmm… that last one looks like something straight out of some boy band TV show or home movie! Ha!!
Consider us skeptical. Is this even legal?!
Oh, and if you’ve got that $50,000 — but as long as you’re a REAL BUYER ONLY (LOLz!) — you can click HERE to bid.
