The baby bump can run, but it can’t hide!
In fact, it may be the reason why ABC is shortening Scandal‘s current season!
Oh man, that won’t make diehard fans happy, now will it?
One of our favorite television stars, Kerry Washington, is in the midst of an amazing baby bump run, which just so happens to be on display (above) during filming a scene for the ABC show this past Monday in Los Angeles.
So when it was announced that ├óΓé¼┼ôABC has trimmed Scandal├óΓé¼╦£s Season 3 episode order from 22 to 18,├óΓé¼┬¥ naturally many are assuming the reason for this is because of Kerry’s growing baby bump.
Here’s what a source said:
├óΓé¼┼ôThe network gave no official explanation for the cutback, but it├óΓé¼Γäós safe to say the decision was made in response to the real-life pregnancy of leading lady [Kerry].”
We’re not one hundred percent sure that Kerry’s baby bump is the reason for this shortening, however, and we’ll explain why!
Remember Claire Danes in a little show called Homeland?
She was pregnant during filming, too! And they found a way to keep that show going without the shortening of its season!
However, Homeland is about ten episodes per season while Scandal is 22 episodes, so maybe that was a bit too much for a mommy-to-be!
Either way – y’all need to savor the new episodes of Scandal now because the rolling good times will come to a halt sooner than later!
But hopefully only for this year!!!
