But don’t worry – they won’t be abandoning their Gleeks anytime soon.
FX has just announced that they have picked up a pilot from the minds of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Before the duo gave the world Glee, they were executive producers on FX’s widely popular series Nip/Tuck and it sounds like the boys are excited to get back to their roots with this new project.
The show is called American Horror Story and that’s literally all we can tell you about it. Ryan and Brad aren’t talking. Things are being kept very hush-hush, which obviously only intrigues us more. All Ryan would say about his upcoming project was that FX is the “perfect place for the series” and that Glee fans shouldn’t be scared that he is abandoning them a la Kurt with the Warblers. He explained:
“Fans can rest assured that we haven’t taken our eyes off that ball for a second. We’ve broken the stories for the season’s remaining episodes and we’ve got big things planned for our little glee club as it strives to make it past Regionals to the all-important Nationals competition in New York City.”
Good. We have our heart set on a few story lines panning out in the coming weeks set to some of our favorite tune and if you let us down because you start getting busy on other projects, so help you Ryan we will be pissed!
