So Piers Morgan Isn’t Taking Over For Larry King???

This game is getting old now, almost as old as Larry King himself. Can we just pick someone and get this over with?!

When Larry announced earlier in the summer that he was stepping down from his iconic CNN show, the rumor mill started churning out a lot of names for his replacement. The biggest and most prodominate name being considered was Piers Morgan.

Because CNN kind of backstabbed Larry by meeting with Piers in secret before the official announcement that Larry was leaving, reps denied the opening reports that Piers was being considered. Then, Simon Cowell came forward and contradicted the claim, saying that Piers was being considered for the job and that he helped his fellow America’s Got Talent employee get the interview. Again, CNN denied this.

But then that that genius chief of NBC Universal Jeff Zucker announced that they were in fact in negotiations with Piers and that was the last we heard of the matter.

Until last night, when Piers told one source that he wasn’t going to be replacing anyone! WTF!!!

He told sources:

“That’s quite a big job to do. Tease. It├óΓé¼Γäós the biggest news organization in the world. It├óΓé¼Γäós highly unlikely that I├óΓé¼Γäóll be taking over.├óΓé¼┬¥

Why the hell not? Do you not like loads of $$$ while working on a respected program? Would you rather watch hill people dance the cha cha slide on AGT for the rest of your career???

Give us a break! If they are offering this gig, you better effing take it!
