2016 has taken and taken and taken.
We’ve lost so many iconic celebrities this year, one artist decided to pay tribute to all of them simultaneously.

Using The Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band as a template, Chris Barker created a collage with all the fallen stars, including Prince, Alan Rickman, Gene Wilder, and David Bowie. He wrote:
“A lot of people speculate that Bowie was actually the glue that was holding the universe together. It’s certainly been a bit different since he tragically passed away.”
Barker posted the first version of the artwork to his Tumblr back in November but has been busy adding to it ever since, up to the recent passings of George Michael and Carrie Fisher.
Here is (we hope) the final version:
I’m really sorry everyone. This is so sad. I feel awful. #RIPCarrieFisher #sgtpepper2016 May the force be with 2017. pic.twitter.com/3HJM8mJPVQ

Note also toward the bottom other tragedies that round out 2016 being the worst — including Donald Trump‘s election, the Brexit, and Toblerone being reduced in size.
What do you think of the 2016 collage?
