Funny Girl Barbra Streisand is set to publish a book documenting the construction and completion of her new home in Malibu. Do people actually give a shit about her freakin’ house????
The mansion was completly designed by Streisand from top to bottom and the illustrated book, called A Passion for Design, will give an inside glance at how the superstar worked more than five years on the oceanfront property as well as showcase other residences, back from her early years in New York.
While this book project is up and running, another eagerly anticipated one keeps getting turned down: a memoir about Streisand’s life. In a recent interview, Barbra says: “I go back and forth. Do I really want to write about my life? Do I really want to relive my life? I’m not sure.”
She does confess, however, that there are some chapters written, in longhand, at a time when she felt “spurred on by the writing process.”
At least THAT would be more interesting!
