On Monday, Melissa McCarthy shared some pics of her and director/pro choreographer Adam Shankman outside of the Centre Theatre Group Gala in El Lay. Melissa looked svelte in a pastel green blazer over a similarly-colored dress made of tulle. She captioned the post:
“Pastels only to honor the incredible @matthewbourne13 at the @ctgla gala last night with this fella @adamshankman !! Thiiiiis much closer to my dream of dancing on stage”

The Bridesmaids actress has been known to fluctuate in weight, but she’s looking noticeably thinner right now. And Babs couldn’t help but point it out! In a since-deleted comment, the Funny Girl star blatantly asked Melissa:
“Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?”
PFFFFT!!
Ummm, we’re sorry! Did she think Melissa’s public comments were private DMs?! Or did she just not think her question could possibly come off as offensive or uncomfortable for The Heat star?! While she may have deleted her comment, fans didn’t forget that at the end of the day, she’s an 82-year-old woman:
“Major boomer aunt with wine and an ipad energy”
“Barbara, if you don’t have something nice to say….”
“Did she really post that comment?”
“Babs. No, honey. Just no.”
“Babs typing away on IG like my elderly mom telling me she text someone something, and me explaining: ‘No, mom, you wrote it on FB on your wall for all to see’”
However, others defended her:
