Carole Baskin just gave her first interview since Tiger King was released on Netflix… but she probably wouldn’t have done it if she knew what was going on!
The reclusive and controversial star of the hit streaming series, and the founder of Big Cat Rescue down in south Florida was tricked by a pair of YouTube pranksters — Archie Manners and Josh Pieters — into doing what she thought was an interview with the late night TV host.

As you can see in the pair’s new video (above), Manners and Pieters explain the entire set-up and go behind-the-scenes into exactly how they tricked Baskin into giving the interview. It’s a pretty interesting process, we must say… and definitely something that she must not be too happy about right now considering she was straight up tricked over it, ya know?!
It’ll be interesting to see if there are legal ramifications from all this, though. As you well know by now if you’ve seen Tiger King, Carole is portrayed as possibly having had something to do with the death of her prior husband — an accusation she has not taken kindly to, and one she very strongly denies to this day. Further, her current husband is a lawyer, so we’ll see if he determines any legal basis to go after these two YouTubers for the straight-up deceit her. Who knows??
