But for the rest of television’s long-running series, it’s pretty hard to keep viewers entertained for years without taking a few risks!
Sometimes, those risks don’t pay off the way producers want them to and result in a wacky gimmick that ends up ruining the entire show. We call this phenomenon “jumping the shark”!
