Only four of the OG Spice Girls are hitting the stage for their upcoming UK tour, and Victoria Beckham has been keeping it classy with her comments about why she’s not joining her former bandmates.
While accepting her Fashion Icon Award at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards in El Lay on Sunday night, she gave a nod to Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Chisholm, who announced their reunion tour last week.

Posh Spice made it clear during her acceptance speech that she’s been off the mic for some time:
“I do apologize for reading off of cards, but I hung up my microphone some time ago, and I get a little scared when I get on stage and I see a mic.”
And she talked girl power, too:
“So many years ago, I started with girl power, and now that message is still as strong as ever, but now it’s through the privilege of being able to empower women through my designs. I’ve always been surrounded by strong, supportive women. And that’s as true now as it was back then. So, for all the women out there who have ever been doubted or doubted themselves, this award tonight is for all of us.”
The four remaining members chatted with the Lorraine Monday morning and talked about Posh’s departure from the group. But Ginger Spice may not have gotten the memo that Posh is out of the singing game…
“Vicky is supportive on and off the stage. The five of us have always had this thing, we support each other on and off stage. We did speak to her and meet up with her and we said, ‘Look, you’re in the band on and off the stage, it doesn’t matter.'”
We guess friendship really never does end, even if you’re not touring together!
