One Direction Takes Home The Trophy For Best Song Ever Of The Summer At The VMAs!

It only seems fitting that One Direction would win! After all, they have the Best Song Ever!

1D faced some tough competition at the VMAs for Song Of The Summer as they went up against huge hits like Robin Thicke‘s Blurred Lines and Daft Punk‘s Get Lucky, but the boys had no problem taking home the trophy!

Seriously, it wasn’t even CLOSE!

Miley Cyrus came in second for her amazingly awesome music video for We Can’t Stop, and she had no problem admitting defeat to 1D and their loyal legion of followers!

Selena Gomez came in third for Come & Get It, while Calvin Harris came in fourth for I Need Your Love featuring Ellie Goulding, and Daft Punk came in fifth. Robin Thicke brought up the rear.
