In his 40+ years as a working actor he has played everything from an convict in prison to God himself – and in January Morgan Freeman will being playing the part of honoree!
Amy Adams and Pedro Almodovar announced that Freedman will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the 69th Golden Globe Awards.
In his lifetime the 74-year-old has received five Academy Award nominations and five Golden Globe nominations, winning the best supporting actor Oscar for Million Dollar Baby and the best actor Globe for Driving Miss Daisy.
Well deserved Morgan! We can’t wait to watch your clip reel and hear you God-like voice make the acceptance speech!
