Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon‘s new movie, Rendition, bombed at├é┬á├é┬áthe U.S. box office this weekend.
The film, which played in 2,250 theaters, opened at a very disappointing 9th place – taking in just $4.1 million.
Meanwhile, the film 30 Days of Night, which was shown in about as many theaters, took in four times that! The film opened at #1 with $16 million.
Who else beat Gyllespoon? The Comebacks, We Own The Night and a 3-D reissue of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
That must hurt!
