Carrie Underwood is a champion for those who cannot fight for themselves: the animals!
We previously mentioned that a bill had been passed by the Tennessee legislature that would force whistleblowers to release undercover video of animal abuse to the police within 48 hours of capturing it.
The problem is that animal rights activists say that 48 hours isn't enough time to show an ongoing pattern of abuse.
Because the bill was passed, it's now up to Governor Bill Haslam to sign it into law or veto it.
Carrie tweeted:

We previously told y'all about the beef Carrie Underwood had with a proposed bill that would make undercover animal investigations potentially illegal.
Which made one local politician, Andy Holt, very unhappy. Here's what he said:
“I would say that Carrie Underwood will stick to singing, I’ll stick to lawmaking.”
Aww hell no!
You know our country girl ain't gonna take too kindly to that! And we were right!
Here's what Carrie tweeted back:

We previously mentioned that there has been a lot going on in the world of politics regarding ag gag bills.
These are laws that would make it illegal to undercover document animal abuse and not turn it over to police within 48 hours.
The problem with the law is that 48 hours doesn't give an undercover whistleblower enough time to gather sufficient evidence to show a pattern of constant abuse.
Well Tennessee lawmakers have recently passed a similar bill and Carrie Underwood is very disappointed!
She said:
Can you say diva???!!!
Because that is the ONLY way to describe Carrie Underwood during her performance of Two Black Cadillacs at the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards last night in Las Vegas.
Girl put on a show and belted it like no other country crooner on that stage.
She may not have walked away with any awards yesterday, but this performance DEFINITELY makes her a winner in our eyes.
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) and see how she earned a standing ovation (above)!!!

Carrie, Carrie quite contrary how does your garden grow? Ha!
Carrie Underwood looked like she was plucked right out of the garden and dropped right on to the ACM Awards red carpet on Sunday night.
In an unusual move, Two Black Cadillacs singer ditched her usual prom princess look for a massive floral print Naeem Khan Resort gown.
We love us some flowers, but we're not sure wearing the entire bouquet was necessary.
A black Jimmy Choo clutch and David Yurman jewels were Miz Underwood's accessories of choice.
Are U feelin' it???

Carrie Underwood sometimes seems unreal.
She's THAT talented.
But she's real alright.
And like all real people - she's got dreams like the rest of us.
And one of her dreams is a farm house, and she's in the middle of building one!
Here's what she said:
Carrie Underwood returned to the place where it all began. Heading back to American Idol last night, the country singer and 6 time Grammy Award winner performed her new single See You Again.
Ch-ch-check out her performance (above).
Carrie first performed for American Idol judges back in 2004 on the show's fourth season. At the time, she'd never even been on a plane! It's safe to say this lady has come a long way! How many planes has she been on by now, d'you think?
With American Idol ratings at an all time low, we can't help but wonder if this is a ploy to boost ratings. Either way, Carrie's performance was stellar as usual! And did we mention how stunning she looked in that peach dress?!
FLAWLESS.
