Remakes seem to be everywhere nowadays, and honestly, we're kind of over them. Well, we thought we were until we heard about the possibility of 20th Century Fox remaking the 1967 cult classic Valley of the Dolls.

Sure, you may not be THAT excited yet, but knowing Madonna, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, and Emmy Rossum are all up for starring roles might pique your interest!
The original film is based on Jacqueline Susann's novel by the same name that featured Barbara Parkins, Patty Duke, and Sharon Tate. The famed novel follows several characters' rise and fall in the movie and theater industry.

One of the biggest snubs this awards season so far was Rami Malek not receiving a Golden Globes nomination for his leading role in Mr. Robot!
But The Hollywood Foreign Press Association sort of made up for it, because the USA Network hacker drama just won Best TV Series Drama!
With so many great dramas on TV this year, the category was a tight race — the freshman series beat out Empire, Game Of Thrones, Narcos, and Outlander!
In a touching speech, series creator Sam Esmail thanked his talented cast along with fiancé Emmy Rossum – so sweet!

Emmy Rossum is joining the conversation about prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health, and physical inactivity by partnering with The Movember Foundation to raise awareness, and explaining the role women play in men's health issues.
She might not be growing a mustache, but she's totally down with the cause!

The 29-year-old — who has taken to her social media to talk about the subject — shared:
"Obviously I always knew about the mustache thing that happens in November, but I didn't really know what it was about. When I learned more about it, I was kind of touched by the role that women play in men's lives in terms of encouraging them to lead a healthy life, to see doctors, to feel comfortable to talk about depression and mental health issues."
The foundation is dedicated to focus on health issues specific to men, which the Shameless star believes is a concern for both men and women:

But it looks like that was for the best for the Shameless star, because she seems really happy with Sam!

The Shameless actress and animal activist wasn't the only one seeing double that day!
Toy manufacturer Mattel selected six powerful women to be part of their Barbie Shero (she-hero) project!
Broadway babe Kristin Chenoweth, country star Trisha Yearwood, Selma director Ava DuVernay, Lucky magazine editor Eva Chen, and five-year-old fashion designer Sydney Keiser were also honored at last week's event with Barbies crafted in their likenesses.
