This reaction is electrifying!!
After the successful Women's March in January, male and female celebrity feminists have been VVV vocal. Which is why we're not surprised so many have taken to the web for International Women's Day.
Spread those messages of badass female empowerment, y'all!
Ch-ch-check out the celebs (male and female) who've spoken out to celebrate women on social media (below):
Talk about making HERstory!
This week Brawny brought back their successful #StrengthHasNoGender campaign in honor of Women's History Month!
The latest installment of the campaign celebrates the groundbreaking women in history who broke major barriers — including Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Marie Curie, Serena Williams, and countless others.
However, the campaign also highlighted four women who are currently making history now with their work in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields (AKA STEM). AH-Mazing!
Be sure to ch-ch-check out their stories for yourself (below)!
Drama in paradise!
A source said:
"There was drama. Kate demanded that if she did the shoot, that she absolutely must get the cover."
Reportedly, Kate also came with a "list of photographers and hair and makeup people she would only work with."
The supermodel famously covered the issue in 2013 in Antarctica, after making her debut on the cover in 2012. She also had the back cover of the mag in 2014. That's three years in a row!
Maybe that's why she's being so demanding this time.
The source continued:
Shouldn't people know better by now than to insult Serena Williams??? She ALWAYS claps back in the best way!
During a press conference Friday following the tennis champ's win against Lucie Safarova during the second round of the Australian Open, one reporter dared to call Serena's performance "scrappy" and "full of errors." Say what?!
Well, the 35-year-old was quick to put him in his place, saying:
"I think that's a very negative thing to say. Are you serious? Well, you should've been out there. That wasn't very kind. You should apologize."
Apparently, he was serious, which is ridiculous, considering Serena had just won! In fact, the recently engaged athlete was also quick to ask for an apology, saying "Do you want to apologize?"
After receiving the apology, and thanking the reporter for it, the class act went on to praise Safarova's performance:
While some people get stressed at the thought of planning their own wedding, Serena Williams is exactly the opposite!
In a new interview for The Project airing Friday night in Australia, the tennis star and fashion designer dished all about her upcoming nuptials to Reddit's Alexis Ohanian.
If you didn't know, the 35-year-old and the tech entrepreneur announced their surprise engagement in December!
Well, Serena has since given their wedding some thought. She confessed about all the prep following the 'exciting' engagement:
"I do event planning all the time actually. I do everything from the food to the looks to everything. I think in a different life I would have been a wedding planner, or just an event planner."
We totally buy that!
But right now, the bombshell athlete is focusing on her tennis career and the Australian Open kicking off next week! In fact, she revealed she and Alexis have yet to pick a wedding date:
"Not yet. I'm really focused on Australia. I was like 'I don't want to talk about anything until this tournament is over and done with.'"
Well, once the tennis championship is over this month we expect Williams to spill all the deets!!
We kid, we kid, but that would be amazing!

Everything's going great in Serena Williams' life right now!
Not only is the pro tennis player engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, but she's also got her sportswear collection with Australian company Berlei.
On Thursday, she made an appearance in Melbourne to promote the latest line, looking beautiful in a colorful Berlei sports bra styled with a flirty tulle skirt, satin-lapel blazer, and black pumps.
The appearance coincided with the release of a promotional video featuring the 35-year-old letting loose dancing in a studio to a cover of Billy Idol's Dancing with Myself.
