Even though Ellen DeGeneres is rich, powerful and busy, she still takes time to care!

Mainly, she cares about the animals! Especially the cute ones!!

She took to twitter and posted a puppy pic (above) and wrote:

She's a caring and compassionate person!

Brooke has two cute kitties of her own at home, but her heart is big enough to care for all cats everywhere!

That's why she's teamed up with the 50 Years, 50 Shelters Program.

She's an adorbz kitty celeb who has taken over the internet with her unique look and extreme levels of cuteness.

Well, the little cutie kitty has teamed up with PETA to bring us an important and adorbzaballs PSA!

This ain't her first PSA rodeo either!

She did a holiday one with Andrew WK!!

Now she has her new PSA and it's all about pet adoption.

Lil Bub doesn't just want you to pledge to adopt, never shop, but to also spay and neuter your pets.

Bub knows that each year, 6 to 8 million animals wind up in shelters and about half of them are euthanized because there aren't enough people adopting.

So what are you waiting for?? Get out there and adopt!!

Recipe for super cuteness: requires one dog and ten baby chicks.

Step one, mix the dog and the baby chicks together in your backyard.

Step two, film their interactions.

Step three, sit back and awwwww! LOLz!

Apparently, ten baby chicks randomly wandered into a family's yard one morning and their dog immediately fell in love with them.

The chicks have since been adopted by a family in Tennessee who is raising them as their own.

Those chicks were lucky to have such a cute foster dog!

We previously mentioned that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has teamed up with Rachel Ray for a $100K Challenge!

Basically, the challenge is a contest that tries to inspire animal shelters across the country to try new and interesting ways to involve and engage their communities, hopefully saving as many dogs and cats as possible.

The shelter who saves the most lives during the three-month contest gets the $100,000.

Vice president of Community Outreach at the ASPCA said:

It's no secret that Moby friggin' luvvvvs dogs!!

While many spent their weekend watching TV and eating cheeseburgers, he spent his weekend visiting the Best Friends Animal Society.

He instagrammed a pic (above) and wrote:

"Who in their right mind doesn't think that dogs are probably the best thing god ever made?"

He even plugged their upcoming huge adoption event in LA!

Over 50 rescue groups will be gathering at the La Brea tar pits with over 1,000 adoptable animals!

That's crazy! So many pets need homes!

This is absolutely horrific!

At a rural ranch in Idaho, three adults were found shot to death!

A two-year-old and a two-month-old were also found at the scene but they were unharmed.

The cops found that the place was clearly a dog-fighting compound because there were 63 pit bulls there.

They were all in terrible condition.
