An abused, strong dog surrounded by violence doesn't sound like a

Lux the Himalayan cat who trapped his owners is now in an animal shelter :(

Remember that 22-lb Himalayan cat named Lux that trapped his owners in a bedroom and forced them to call 911???

Well, his Portland owner Lee Palmer and family have decided to ship him off to an animal shelter.

The cat had attacked their 7-month-old baby, which prompted the dad to kick Lux, which made him even more aggressive - something that all cat owners should know is a no-no.

Even though they've sent him to the shelter, which is NOT a no-kill shelter btw, they've said that

U.S. Olympian Gus Kenworthy Is Reunited With His Sochi Dogs On Today Show! Find Out Why This Story Just Got Even More Bittersweet HERE

Remember when Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy rescued four Sochi puppies and their momma?

We were so excited that several strays stuck in Russia were going to get out and find good homes in the good ol' U.S. of A.!

Sadly, in the most heartbreaking news we've ever heard, two of the puppies have died. Noooo! Say it isn't so!

Gus' friend Robin Macdonald had stayed behind in Sochi to make sure the pups would get home safe, but has explained that the deceased pups died after Russian authorities "refused to let [Macdonald] bring [them] to get treatment."

The two were on the Today show this morning with Matt Lauer and Gus was finally reunited with the remaining pups, including their precious momma.

Gus is gonna keep two of the pups, another one will go to his brother and his fiancé and the momma dog will be adopted by Gus's mom.

Watch the bittersweet reunion and their explanation of why the process took so long to bring them home (above).

And, say goodbye to one of the pups, in which Robin posted a pic and sweet message (below).

Rescue Shelter Sells Child's Puppy To A "Better" Family! Refuses To Help Get The Pup Back!

Karma Rescue sold a child's puppy to a better family!

This is just terrible, we can't believe an organization out to do good has done so much evil.

Rosa Torres and her 4-year-old son lost their pup Raffiki when she ran out of their backyard. Sadly Raffiki wasn't tagged or microchipped or anything so when Karma Rescue picked her up, they renamed her Kami and adopted her out to a new family. That's awful!!

Torres went all over her neighborhood, posted fliers, checked shelters, gathered volunteers, did everything she could to find her pup. By the time she tracked her dog to Karma Rescue's website, her pup had already been placed in a new home!! Rosa applied to get her dog back but she "did not meet the qualifications that Karma looks for when adopting a dog to a home," according to Karma Rescue.

The problem is
