We know what you're thinking, and, no, they aren't expecting a baby anytime soon.
They actually just adopted a cat together!
Nikki posted the above photo to her Instagram yesterday, saying:
Hilary Swank is a real hero to rescue dogs everywhere.
This Thanksgiving night, Hilary is going to host a star-studded special and it's all about doggies!
It's called The Great American Dog-a-Thon and the whole event is about raising awareness for homeless dogs and even giving viewers a chance to adopt animals.
The Fox special will have musical guests and awards and some seriously famous faces!
Meet Lazarus the wonder dog!!
Life can throw all sorts of death at him, but he just won't give up. He's survived near fatal heartworms, a car accident, and an even an attempt to euthanize him!!
Lazarus ended up in an Alabama dog shelter after being hit by a car. His owner was moving and no longer able to care for the pup, so they just left him there at the shelter. Poor pup!
The shelter tried to get Lazarus adopted but no one was interested, so less than a month later, a vet came to the shelter and lethally injected him. Normally, this sad story would end here. But not for Lazarus.
They both absolutely adore animals and we think that's just the bees knees. When Nikki was stopped after a recent event and asked what she was doing, she said:
In Tulare County, California, a stray dog was picked up alongside a rural road.
Sounds like a pretty normal, boring story… oh, but did we mention that dog just happened to have TWO NOSES??
The stray pup was brought to a South Valley animal shelter where employees will
Felicity, the pit-bull mix, has had a really tough time.
She was found last month in Lexington, Kentucky, tied to a fence, and was taken in by the Lexington Humane Society.
Sadly, this little pup had the word "f*ck" chemically burned into her!!
