Letterman Gushes Over Poehler And 'Gobbles' Parks & Rec

He hasn’t been this worked up since Rosie O’Donnell called him out for gay bashing!

Amy Poehler stopped by the Late Show last night and found a new super fan. Her segment could have mentioned the Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis movie Amy’s rumored to be a part of… but David Letterman just wanted to rave about Parks & Recreation!

He said:

"I got the first season of Parks & Recreation and I gobbled my way right through that, and I thought this is fantastic.”

We understand your enthusiasm, Dave. It's a great show!

Poehler knew Dave’s praise is good for business. She said:

“Wow. We should take [the clip] and just send it out as a screener.”

Later, the enthusiastic duo chatted about hubby Will Arnett and even Baby Bjorns. Amy said people who own them are “real a$$holes.”

Yikes!

We hope Beyoncé didn’t tune in!

It's Time To Laugh Out Loud For 2012 Comedy Awards Nominations!

the-comedy-awards-2012-logo-white-copy__120306085350-275x275-web.jpg

While we love the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Grammys, The Comedy Awards will offer a nice break from the snooty shows!

The nominees for the 2012 Comedy Awards have been released and Modern Family, 30 Rock, Bridesmaids, Crazy, Stupid, Love., and Louis C.K. lead the group with five nominations each.

Modern Family took home the best TV series gold last year and 30 Rock is back to try to snatch it away this year, along with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Rec, and newbie Happy Endings.

Bridesmaids has been mostly snubbed this awards season but they have several opportunities to take home some hardware with nods in Best Comedy, Best Film Director, Best Screenplay and a catfight for best actress between Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.

Meow! Lolz!

2012 should be an exciting race for The Comedy Awards as 2011 was VERY good year for comedy!

FYI, we would totally watch any show Oprah Winfrey pitches!

While this sketch hit the cutting room floor, Maya Rudolph stopped by The Weekend Update as Oprah and she gave Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers lots of "goodies."

From Furbies to rotten mahi mahi, Oprah was in the giving mood and even dropped some bombs on the shows she's releasing on the OWN network!

NCIS: Oprah! HIGHlarious!

Wet Hot American Summer Sequel 'Absolutely’ A Go!

wet-hot-summer-sequel.jpg

Finally! A sequel everyone WANTS to see! Clear Bradley Cooper's schedule!

Last night, Coop Michael Showalter was Andy Cohen's guest on Watch What Happens Live and confirmed that a sequel for Wet Hot American Summer is "absolutely" happening and that "the whole gang, everyone's doing it."

Our favorite part about everyone signing on for this is that the concept revolves around everyone resurrecting their characters during the same summer as the original movie. This "40-year-olds" will be playing 16-year-olds," and it will still be 1981. The hair. The clothes. The music … THE HAIR!

Oh, we can't WAIT to see what they do with Christopher Meloni's head! HAHAHAHA!

Are U looking forward to heading back to Camp Firewood? Have U picked out your song for the talent show? Do U have your movement clothes at the ready???
