We mentioned earlier that Sony Pictures was looking to cast Rachel McAdams in the starring villainess role in Spider-Man 4. We were cool with this decision, if for no other reason to have some actual TALENT grace the screen.

But now we're hearing another star's name being thrown around for the role of The Black Cat. Sources are suggesting that Anne Hathaway is also being considered!

Heavy hitters!

They are really trying to compensate for the fact that Kirsten Dunst is still in this franchise.

We hope there's singing involved!

Neil Patrick Harris and Anne Hathaway are in talks to lend their voices to Rio, an animated feature that follows a nerdy Minnesota macaw who aims to fly the mid-western coup for Rio de Janeiro.

The film, which will be shot in 3D digital animation, is the next collaboration between Blue Sky Studios, Fox Animation and director Carlos Saldanha, who are responsible for the $882 million grossing Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

Rio aims to hit theaters April 8, 2011!

The gorgeous Scarlett Johansson is rumored to be starring in the Broadway revival of the musical Promises, Promises alongside Sean Hayes of Will and Grace fame.

We kinda LOVES this!

Originally Anne Hathaway was said to be taking the leading lady role of Fran the waitress, but it appears Mrs. Ryan Reynolds is now on the table.

We love us some ScarJo, but can her voice carry a Broadway musical?

As we mentioned late last year, cutie Anne Hathaway had found herself a new beau, fellow actor Adam Shulman.

The two seemed very lovey dovey for a while, despite reports that Shulman is nothing more than an opportunist and a freeloader.

And after not being spotted out together for some time, it seemed things were cooling off between the two. However, it turns out they're still dating.

Anne and Adam were just spotted entering LA's Gil Turners Wines & Spirits for a bottle of wine Sunday afternoon.

The two then headed over to a nearby bookstore on Sunset Blvd and they looked happy as ever browsing through the selections.

Could things be getting serious with Anne and Shulman?

Big news!

First and foremost, Hugh Jackman is now attached to play P.T. Barnum in Twentieth Century Fox's The Greatest Showman on Earth, which will be an original musical with a the screenplay by Sex and The City screenwriter, Jenny Bicks.

Jackman will play the showman as he grows his now famous three-ring circus.

Also very exciting, the musical will have a contemporary original score, and apparently the studio is in talks with none other than Mika to write the music and lyrics!!!

Amazing!!

And, the love interest is supposedly being written for Anne Hathaway (yes!). 

This could be gold!  Can't wait to hear the final cast and writing team!!

The Simpsons are delivering some pretty big names for the 21st season of the soon-to-be longest running television show ever!

Some of the celebrities who will be lending their voice to season 21 are: Chris Martin of Coldplay, funnywoman Sarah Silverman (who will play Bart's girlfriend in an ep.), Anne Hathaway, Jonah Hill, Neve Campbell and Seth Rogen, who wrote the 21st season's premiere.

The new season of The Simpsons is expected to start up on September 27th on Fox.

A second round of stunning promo photos for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland film have arrived!

We're loving the styling of Mia Wasikowska as Alice - it channels more of a Lewis Carroll-Alice rather than Disney.

Plus Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway look just as fantastic in their trannylicious makeup as they did in the older shots!

Invitees include Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, James Franco, Michelle Williams, Seth Rogan, Paul Rudd and Michael Cera.
