Louis Tomlinson wants to play a bigger role in his son's life.
Sources say the former boy bander's baby momma, Briana Jungwirth, has been "inconsistent" about letting the famous father spend time with their five-month-old.
That doesn't really seem fair, considering the 24-year-old is reportedly renting a $1 million dollar home in Calabasas for his former flame and their little guy.
So, since the UK native actually wants to have an active role in his baby boy's life, he's requesting joint physical AND legal custody, as well as a completely even division of time that he and Briana can spend with Freddie.
As of right now, the singer is supposedly giving the 24-year-old $15K each month for child support. But, in the custody case, a judge will ultimately decide how much Louis should pay.
What do U think about all this, Perezcious readers?!

As you probably know, we've since heard from her mom, Tokyo Toni, but Eric Holland also has a few words about his daughter's highly-publicized pregnancy!
The 49-year-old expressed to DailyMail just how excited he is:
"Oh yeah I'm happy of course - she knows that. As soon as I found out I was all happy for her - they're having a baby and everything - she's got my blessings. I met Rob he seems like a nice man - he was nice with me and everything so I'm happy for her."
Aww! So sweet!
He even shared how he has no worries about the 28-year-old adjusting to fame:
Wearing a onesie that read "Team Daddy," the little tot was held in momma Nicole Johnson's arms as they cheered on their leading man.
And it all paid off!
The swimmer won his preliminary heat of the 200-meter butterfly in just 1 minute, 56.68 seconds. He was 0.22 of a second ahead of the first runner up. Boy is back!!!
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old hopes to secure a spot on his fifth Olympic team for the Rio games — which would make him the first U.S. man to do so.
