Taylor Swift made a triumphant return to the stage for the first time in about a year on Saturday night, performing at the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, and she did it BIG!!!
The superstar took to the stage for the first time since wrapping up her 1989 world tour — as well as ending a couple of major relationships with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston — and so all eyes were on Swift, and she did NOT disappoint!
In addition to everything else in her catalog, she performed This Is What You Came For live for the first time!!!
Ch-ch-check it out on video, with a hat tip to Nils Sjoberg who joined her in the performance, below:
The Little Monsters are NOT going to like this!
On Tuesday, Rolling Stone released their profile on The Chainsmokers who dished about their favorite and — most importantly — least favorite artists.
Ever since the success of their mega-hit Closer, the duo — Alex Pall (right) and Drew Taggart — have mingled with music's biggest names including Chris Martin from Coldplay, fellow EDM superstar Calvin Harris, and Bono from U2!
According to Taggart, Bono "rolled up to our studio, all by himself" and:
"played us some new U2 music. We played him some of our new stuff, and with this one song, he was like, 'That's great – will you send that to me?' Which was so sick."'
However, Alex and Drew aren't fans of everyone. When asked about Lady GaGa's new single Perfect Illusion, Pall flat out said:
This makes total sense!
Per insiders close to the situation, the pair exchanged a "simple text" to avoid any potential awkwardness during award show season. Considering all the festivities being just around the corner, the timing couldn't be better!
The source explained:
It looks like Taylor Swift won't be penning Bad Blood 2 anytime soon!
In case you forgot, TayTay and the Scottish DJ were at odds a bit following their June breakup when the blonde beauty rushed into a new relationship with Tom Hiddleston AND confirmed she had written Harris' latest collaboration with Rihanna, This Is What You Came For. At the time, the 32-year-old seemed pretty frustrated with Miz Swift as he totally DRAGGED her on Twitter. Oof!
However, it seems like all of this drama is behind the former flames as it's said the duo are no longer at war with each other. According to TMZ, shortly after Hiddleswift called it quits, Taylor and Calvin started texting again in order to
But it just turns out the dish of man candy the host chose to offer up had largely been sampled by none other than Swifty before!
Ch-ch-check out the sexy clip to find out (below)!!!
On Thursday, the Scottish DJ released his new song which actually has Calvin singing on it — which is kind of funny since he previously asked fans to guess whose vocals were going to be featured on the single. Anywho, many fans are now speculating that this song was written as a diss to Taylor!
As seen in the lyric video for the song (below), the music producer sings lines such as:
Calvin Harris wants everyone to know he's doing just fine after his split from Taylor Swift three months ago!
Actually, he's doing "much better."
According to E!, a source dished the Scottish DJ, whose real name is Adam Wiles, is loving the single life. Spilling of the 32-year-old's relationship status, the insider said:
